Distracted Scribbling.

How many times have you sat in a lecture, meeting or even just listening to a friend but your hand was doing something else? Sometimes you don’t even mean to do it but it just happens, naturally.

Doodling boosts creativity and man who doesn’t love a good doodle? It’s amazing what synapses’ this activity releases within your brain. There are even studies that prove as we age we are no longer as creative as we once were. If you consult a young kid, and give them a paper clip. I bet you there are possibly 100 ideas they could come up for uses other than it being a bookmark or holding paper together. Right now, how many could you come up with? (Without Google-ling!) . It’s not because you cannot do it, it’s because we place these unnecessary doubts within ourselves.  It’s the ego talking, and you need to ignore it. You have this thing going on inside of you and it’s becoming hard to remain sane. Shut it off and give your mind something better to play with. The universe gives you opportunities to create, it is up to you whether to execute it or not, if you are too slow? Ha! Best believe it will become someone else's opportunity.

Doodle Like You Mean It !

Think now as you read this, how many ideas you can come up using a paperclip?  This is my challenge to you today, wherever you are right now: pick up a pen and scribble. Just scribble whatever pops into your head. If you are feeling uninspired, DOODLE. If you are feeling bored, DOODLE. If you have creative block and you cannot shake it off, go outside and DOODLE.

I performed a " Doodle It" in the middle of a lecture today , passed around Post'It pad , gave folks pens and asked them to doodle.I would say it came out pretty well :).
